Good morning Don

I hope this note finds you well and you are keeping busy without working too hard!

We haven’t spoken for a while but I just wanted to update you on how things have progressed since the Danwood training earlier this year.

Our year end finishes today and when I looked at my annual target back on 1st October last year, the whole thing looked very challenging and somewhat daunting to be honest. Following the training we had earlier this year, this number has been eaten up by the guys in my team and they have now hit their annual number – which in return is my annual number.

It was your training which has helped me achieve my targets – having had no previous sales management training, the whole 2 sessions were totally relevant and eye opening for me. Before the training I was fixated on the task – now I am far closer to them as individuals and they now feel like they are part of a winning team. They are used to hitting their monthly target, they are used to winning incentives and 2 of us are on a trip to Marrakech in November as the prize for hitting our annual target.

I suppose it was difficult to judge the success of your training until now and I just wanted to say a heartfelt thanks for your input. Training is an expense that some companies are possibly looking to cut back on in the current climate but from my point of view and Danwood’s the investment has been paid dividends!

They did mention that they would be very interested in exploring a coaching option with you. As you may know we support personal coaching as part of our development plan. It seems the cs managers see some benefits in continuing to work with you on a more personal level in between the formal training sessions.
